Cedar Creek Battlefield

Ms. Edwards and I headed to the Cedar Creek Battlefield visiting center. There we picked up a few books. We also discovered that the Cedar Creek Battlefield consist mostly of markers on private property. Ms. Edwards took a few pictures of what remains of the battlefield. I guess this is one of those examples of when society and the needs of society ruin a historical landmark.

We did purchase a book so that we could learn more about the battle. We decided to go and see Belle Boyd's house in West Virginia.
